Carrot Cake

Another non-cupcake post. I know. And I know that I have committed the cardinal sin of blogging- not posting for 5 months. Well, I am going back to school-- which has significantly cut into my cupcaking time. Grrr.

Anyway, here is a 4 layer cake I made for my sister's boss. Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. The coolest thing is that I hate carrot cake, but this recipe is so good that I even ate some! :) And it is healthy! Yay for applesauce and pineapple! Double bonus points for the cute little gumpaste rabbit!

Spaghetti and Meatballs!

This has to be my favorite idea from the "Hello Cupcake!" cookbook. Frosting "noodles", raspberry jam "tomato sauce", Ferrero Rocher "meatballs", white chocolate "parmesean cheese". They look so real that most people are afraid to try them!
